You can't visit Ambleside without taking in Stock Ghyll waterfalls. A short walk from town takes you to the falls and nearby Force Cafe for breakfast, brunch, a light lunch or coffee and cakes. Force Cafe is also open till 9pm on Saturdays for evening meals. It is also worth checking their Instagram (or the Kelsick Assembly website) for their range of special events, like pizza nights and yoga sessions!
It's a short, scenic walk to the waterfalls and Force Cafe from Ambleside town centre, but well-worth the effort for the view from the cafe terrace.
